North Korea DPRK

Kim Jong-Il

North Korea, for the longest time, is secluded from the world. This is in direct compliance to their so-called Great Leader Kim Jong-Il’s totalitarian policies. The country is only to accept services from their own and refuses helps from the U.N. and business interests from other countries who are willing to invest in the remote nation.

But as of February, the ban of the use of cellphones in North Korea has already been lifted (anyone caught with a cellphone before is subject for execution) and contact to the outside world are now allowed. This is an eye-opener for the DPRK people of the freedom that has been distorted away from them by Kim Jong-Il since his rule and his father’s.
